The Tusitiri dhow creates a magical setting for an enchanting coastal safari. Based out of Lamu, guests can spend their days relaxing, reading books and swimming or can pack in a plethora of water based fun including snorkelling on coral reefs, paddleboarding along the mangrove creeks, deep-sea fishing and creek fishing, water-skiing and wake-boarding, picnicking on pristine beaches, having sundowner drinks on the dune or exploring the narrow streets and sites of UNESCO World Heritage site Lamu Town and Shela. Tusituri can sleep up to 10 guests under the stars on lovely linen bedrolls which are set up every evening after dinner with the deck lit up by twinkling brass lanterns. Delicious, fresh meals are produced by the talented boat team who also make a mean sundowner! Day-cabins below deck provide storage and changing facilities so those who like some privacy are able to have it. The Tusituri experience is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a uniquely coastal experience under the skies of East Africa. Note: Open season is 1st January 2026 – 30th April 2026 & 1st August 2026 – 31st December 2026. The dhow is not available outside of these dates
