Fully restored in 2022 by Skinner & Skinner design, this fisherman’s cottage sits right on the beach at Agni on Corfu’s North East coast. Furnished by a talented interior designer, Spiti Antigoni has original artworks and luxurious furniture and bedding. A covered terrace with L-shaped seating overlooks the beach with the water only ten metres away. The master bedroom has a super king bed with a pocket-sprung mattress. Guests can lie in bed and glory in the picture-book window with its view across the sparkling Ionian Sea. The second bedroom has a bunk bed composed of two queen size mattresses with lights and cubby holes for books. The cottage has two shower rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, both with copper rainfall showers, toilets and sinks. The living space is made up of an L-shaped linen covered sofa and features a 40′ TV with streaming services and Bluetooth amplifier and speaker system for music. The remainder of the ground floor contains the beautifully constructed, fully equipped kitchen with marble counter-tops, dishwasher, oven, hob and built-in fridge-freezer. The kitchen area also contains the dining table and seating for four guests. At the rear of the house is a small parking area and a unit containing a washing machine and dryer. The house has air conditioning throughout and double glazing keeps the house both quiet and cool. The joy of leaving the cottage, walking down the pier and diving into the crystal sea is an unbeatable way to start the day.
