On the southern tip of Paxos, this delightful villa is next to Agia Marina, the oldest basilica on the island, and has views over Porta Ozia bay. Laid out on one level the house has spacious, bright open plan living space with fully equipped kitchen, dining and reception areas which lead out onto the house terraces. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with the three other bedrooms (double, twin and single) sharing a bathroom. There is a further guest loo. The separate studio has a large single bed with bathroom suitable for a teenager or a nanny . The large freshwater swimming pool lies adjacent to the house and for the sea swimmers in your party, the beach is just below the house. Basilica is set in large gardens filled with cypress and olive trees and guests can walk through the garden to a wonderful private seating area with view over the rocky west coast of the shore line towards Anti-Paxos – perfect for sundowners. Mongonissi island with its taverna and beaches is just a short walk away. Basilica, 3km south of Gaios, provides the setting for a wonderful, laid-back holiday in a great location. We love it.
