15 years ago, British architect, Dominic Skinner and his Dutch wife Claire, who is involved in the interiors, created an award-winning design and lifestyle company, “Skinner and Skinner Design”. Their synergy have created a large number of unique projects in Greece, notably in the Ionian islands, with a focus on Corfu and Paxos.
The Skinner family have a long and strong association with the island of Corfu. Over forty years ago, a young Dominic arrived on Corfu for his annual holiday visiting his family house in Kalamaki. His early passion of Architecture & Design, having worked with Norman Foster followed with a move to Greece hugely influenced all that followed: creating a harmonious combination between lifestyle & Design. Having met his wife in Agni in 1997 at a dinner, Claire gladly followed his dream and added her International wanderlust touch & style to it. The Skinner family currently live and work both in England and Corfu.
