The cottage has four traditional and comfortable twin bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms, a separate bathroom with antique bath and power shower, a large kitchen, utility room, comfortable sitting room with open log fire and a separate dining room large enough for entertaining visitors. For fishing parties there is a full sized lockable rod box. For larger parties, guests can rent nearby Lakeside Bothy, which has a further two twin bedrooms, a bathroom and separate shower room, meaning you could be a party of 12, all eating at Walled Garden Cottage. The cottage has access to all the stunning walks and hikes on the estate plus guests will have discounted entry to the Castle’s Walled Garden & café. Gordon Castle manages 8 miles of the renowned River Spey so if world class salmon and sea trout fishing are your lures, the Castle team can arrange some unforgettable fishing for you.
