Inspired by the Greek term for a ‘state of serene calmness’, guests lucky enough to stay at Ataraxia will soon understand the enchanted state which inspired the owners to give their house this wonderfully evocative name. Set in the hills above Kassiopi, the villa is laid out over two levels with multiple terraces, both covered and uncovered, for dining, relaxing, swimming and revelling in the extraordinary views that stretch over the sea to the mountains of the mainland beyond. The house has five double bedrooms including 2 master suites with en suite bathrooms (plus separate shower) and three bedrooms with en suite shower rooms. A large, vaulted living space with dining area leads into a fully equipped kitchen with all areas leading onto the main house terraces. The lower level is home to the house gym and TV/games room. Outside beautifully planted Mediterranean gardens encircle the house. There is a large infinity pool with sundeck and loungers, outdoor kitchen and second eating area. The villa is within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, bars and village beaches of Kassiopi which is 2km away making the house perfect for multi-generational families and families with older children.
